Odyessus and his wife have a child and his name is Telemachus. Right after Telemachus is born Odyessus has to go off to war at Troy.He goes to war and it lasts ten years. His army wins the war by bulding a Trojan horse and him and his men coming out of it when the Troy army is sleeping. Then Calypso kept Odysseus in her cave for a long time. After that Odysseus` crew lands at an island near Ismarus in the city of the Cicones. The Cicones killed 72 of Odysseus` men. Then they came to the island of the Lotus Eaters. Lotus is a honey plant that makes them lose hope of reaching home again. Odyessus has to tie his men to their ship to continue their journey.
